They are freshman too. I guess they gave them the choice?<br /><br />Our high schools were supposed to start hybrid this week but the state guidelines has pushed the date to mid October now. It won't happen. Maybe in January if the virus is actually handled and not swept under the rug. <br /><br />I have become very vocal about our lack of leadership lately. I cannot risk another four years with this administration. I am muddling along with work (from home) and my daughter has submitted about four college apps now and is trying to get her prescreen audition materials together. It's a very stressful time. I need to let go of this anxiety but reading helps a lot. It was 117F this past wee...I envy you your weather. It was 117F this past weekend. It's been slightly cooler since then, but on the hot side. I will be glad when fall comes here. At least today we can see the sun a bit. Yesterday was so dark because of all the smoke. We're staying indoors where hopefully the air is a bit cleaner. <br /><br />I would imagine the walk around the college campus was strange with no students out and about. I am glad you were able to get out for awhile though and take a stroll.<br /><br />Love your cat photos. :-) Lucy and Ricky are so beautiful. Elza is the easy one, although very spoiled. My black one is very laid back and the rescue cat is very anxious. My eldest one is a real spinster or something and can be very very moody!!<br /><br />The Mysterious affair at Styles is a great read. All Agatha Christie's are! <br /><br />I struggle to get into Elena Ferrante's writing style.
