ReplyDeleteYou shouldn't feel guilty about the splurge - those look so good would have been irresistible.
You got some good ones. The White Devil looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteNow, since we're friends, I feel comfortable asking you this without feeling completely dumb. Can you please explain what exactly are Persephone books? I have heard about them a lot since starting blogging, but have never had the nerve to ask until now. =O)
Another nice selection of books this week. These are all new titles for me. And enjoy those Guilty Splurges.

ReplyDeleteOh guilty book splurges. . . .
ReplyDeleteBut they are books! Very altruistic -- hard to feel toooo guilty (except when you know how many books are sitting in your house unread).
Thanks for the grin (and I love your button on the left sidebar with the book hugging the girl).
Wow, another haul! Who would have thought iphone photos would be popular enough for a book?!?!

ReplyDeleteI like your style! I've been web surfing, looking for an on-line book group or something of the sort. Maybe I'll just enjoy your blog for a while, add some comments once in a while, etc. Perhaps you'll inspire me to start my own blog!
ReplyDeleteI like your style! I've been web surfing, trying to find a drop-in book-group or something of the sort. Maybe I should follow your blog for a while, add my compelling comments when so inclined, and enjoy the cat fights that ensue. Perhaps I'll be inspired to start my own blog someday. I missed a good chance last summer when I discovered a feral mom and 4 kittens living under my porch.
