ReplyDeleteThey all look great; it will be difficult to choose which one to read first :)
ReplyDeleteThey look good! I loved The Death of Bees, haven't read any of the others. The Jansma book looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
Wow, what a fantastic mailbox! Have a great week, Diane, and enjoy all your new reads.
ReplyDeleteThe Kohl's Care edition books are such a great idea. Every time I shop there, I want to buy them all, and get a plush toy to go with!
ReplyDeleteNice selection of books in your mailbox. Enjoy them all!
ReplyDeleteYou've got a nice mix there! I'm really looking forward to The Death of Bees. I'm curious about the Haigh too--I love her novels, but I'm not as into short fiction. I'll look forward to your thoughts! Also, I love the way you're building a library for your grandchild.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy The Death of Bees as much as I did...and now I see a book on your stack that is tempting me: the Alice Monroe book.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing...and enjoy!

Love your "child's library." Enjoy your books!
ReplyDeleteHi Diane,
ReplyDeleteA great mix of books this week and all of the authors are new to me.
I really like the sound of 'Death Of Bees'. I am reading a book right now with a very similar synopsis and I am enjoying that immensely, so I am sure that this book would be a great continuation read.
Thanks for sharing and have a good week,
Yvonne.
Another nice week. I'm seeing Death of Bees in a lot of mailboxes the last few weeks. Now I'm wondering what I'm missing! I hope it comes out in audio too.
ReplyDeleteWe got a couple of the same titles! The Unchangeable Spots of Leopards looks really good.

My Mailbox Monday
What a great variety! I think it's very cool that you're working on building a children's collection!
ReplyDeleteAwesome mailbox. Quite the variety. I collected children's books for years even before I even had any children. Now my boys know that Mom can't say no to book requests by them!
ReplyDelete2 Kids and Tired Books MM
A nice selection of books! The Death of Bees is on my radar.
ReplyDeleteI declined The Bookie's Son, in an effort to gain more control over my own choices in what I read, but maybe I shouldn't have.
ReplyDeleteCynthia Rylant is always a win-win author for me. Maybe not for children, but I love her work.
I love the Kohl's stuff at Christmas. Their Christmas CDs are the best!
ReplyDeleteDear Life is a contender for my Short Story Summer Challenge. Also loving the sound of the Jansma title - added it to my wish list last week. Lots of great titles there - enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI received a couple of these as well so I am looking forward to comparing notes with you. Happy reading!
