"I'm Dreaming of a Red Bird Christmas"
(I have no idea, how I made this photo appear frosty
but, I was pleased with the look.)
Hm, didn't Fanny Flagg write a book called Red Bird Christmas? The red bird pic does look dream-like :)
ReplyDeleteShe sure did, in fact that is one of my favorite Christmas stories.
DeleteHaha that's too cute! I love that the cat has a little grin on his face.
ReplyDeleteClever combining :-)
ReplyDeleteThe bird photo does look like a dream shot! A lovely cat as well!

Any cat photo is welcome to me!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful kitty! You can get that frost affect at picmonkey. It's really appealing! Enjoy your time off!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful photos!!! Love your red bird!
ReplyDeleteHow cute!!
ReplyDeleteSo adorable; I always wonder what my cat dreams of when they're snuggled so tight. Love the frosted effect on the bird picture as well.
ReplyDeleteThe kitty is adorable...such a dreamy pose. And I love the frosty look to the second photo, too. Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteawww :-) what a cute kitty :-) :-)
ReplyDeleteSo cute... the frosty effect is perfect!
ReplyDeleteIt DOES look "frosty!" Good job!
ReplyDeleteDo the kitties like to sit in the window and watch the birds? I thought you played with the lighting settings to get the effect on the cardinal... until you gave it away that it was accidental. :)
ReplyDeleteThe cats do like to watch the birds, but they are not obsessed by it. They definitely like it more when the windows are open.
DeleteI haven't figured out my (1) year old camera totally, and don't have the patience to sit down with my "dummies book" LOL
Love the kitty picture...I miss mine. Cardinals are my favorite!!
ReplyDeleteCardinals are my favorites too, but they are so skittish.

ReplyDeleteThe cat dreams and we see what it dreams about - very clever photography and combination. I too always wonder what dogs and cats are dreaming.
Great photos and hilarious idea, too! I expect it's probably true, too!
ReplyDeleteI miss our kitty too!! But not the snow!!
ReplyDeleteLove the dreamy look of your cardinal! Merry, merry and happy, happy to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteThat's just perfect! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteSweet pairing of the photos together!
ReplyDeleteI could have made the photo look frosty just by taking it out my kitchen window. I love your sleepy kitty and the bird of his dreams. Here's Mine
ReplyDeleteThat is a neat effect even if accidental! Love the kitty smile. Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteMine is here.
Fun photos! Merry Christmas!

ReplyDeleteA lovely pair of photos!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos
ReplyDeleteNice pictures. Hmmm -- do not let that bird too close to the cat, or it will surely spend Christmas inside the kitty.
ReplyDeleteA very Merry Christmas to you!
Hahahaha!! I love these two photos and the frosted look on the cardinal!
ReplyDelete:) love these photos... :)
ReplyDeleteFun - cat and bird. I do love the frosty look and I love cardinals!
ReplyDeleteLook at you telling stories with your photos!
ReplyDeleteI like the frosty look too!
