Yeah, I keep saying I'm going to cut back too. Ha! I haven't read any of those books - most of the titles are new to me.
ReplyDeleteI have the same "plan"--but I can't seem to stick to it! I have not read any of the books you've featured here.
ReplyDeleteIt's SOOOO hard to say no to great sounding books even when we know we have well more than we will read any time soon!
ReplyDeleteI thought for sure that I must have read at least one of them, but no... I have a hard time limiting the number of books in the house - a room just isn't a room without a stack of books in it! :-)
ReplyDeleteAll new to me. I made a resolution not to buy books and have stuck to that one. There is simply no space.
ReplyDeleteI'm hopeless at saying no to new books, even though I know how hopeless it's going to be to read all the books I already have. I haven't read any of these, but they sure look good. I'm especially interested in the Deirdre Madden. I loved Molly Fox's Birthday when I read it last year, and I'd love to read more from her soon!
ReplyDeleteHow lucky you are to have Mambo in Chinatown! I have two of our other books! Enjoy the reading.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books, I too was supposed to limit books entering my house but now I've embraced failure!

I haven't yet managed to "cut back" either. I haven't read any of those books, but they look good.
ReplyDeleteThe book by Andre Dubus III intrigues me, as I've loved a couple of his. Going to check this one out!
Those are some really nice-sounding books you have there! Enjoy them - looking forward to your reviews!
ReplyDeleteWow! You got some great-looking books! I'm curious about the Dubus.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Good thing you are trying to limit books ;)
ReplyDeleteSo many of these look terrific. Nothing feels as good as an actual book in your hands, does it? I've spent Sunday reading a 500-page book. So relaxing.
ReplyDeleteMambo in Chinatown is on my TBR. How do you choose?
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these (perhaps they are yet to be released in Oz - but I hope they are soon!) I'm trying to be better behaved in terms of less books, but it's not really working!
ReplyDeleteI started Mambo in Chinatown and really like it. I also heard Akhil Sharma speak about his new book and it definitely has me intrigued. He mentioned in that talk that the book started at 7000 pages - pretty amazing considering it is now so slim!
ReplyDeleteSoooo many books. I usually do pretty well with my physical copies but my ebooks...ugh. Don't really have a handle on ebooks.
ReplyDeleteWow! Lots of great titles. Season of the Dragonflies sounds fabulous. Hope you enjoy your books.

I haven't read any of these but 'Syndrome E' sounds like a book I would pick up.
ReplyDeleteI have seen The Book of Unknown Americans a little around today and it sounds really intriguing. Enjoy your new books! :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of those. They look good though. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteNew titles for me to, enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI just heard Dubus had a new book. Enjoy all of your books!
ReplyDeleteI definitely wouldn't limit books coming in if you keep getting great titles like these. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is so difficult to stop. I said the same thing about limiting, but I can't. :)
I hope you enjoy ALL of them. They all look so good.
Have a great week.

Syndrome E was FABULOUS! I can't wait to read more books by that author! I'm also a huge fan of Andre Dubus III's The House of Sand and Fog so I've been very intrigued about Dirty Love and want to get my hands on it at some point - I hope you love them all! :D
