New Books

Yup, another week of new books. Just when I donate a bag of books more seem to find their way back inside.  The top picture are ones that arrived by mail, and the bottom picture is $3.50 worth from a library booksale yesterday~~ how could I resist?

Have you read any of these titles or authors?

  1. You got some wonderful books. I am the same way, publishers send me books to review, Amazon Vine gives me books, and I adore library book sales. Plus I buy books. I acquire them faster than I can read and review them.

  2. I never can resist a good book sale. I haven't been to my library's sale in awhile but am hoping to make it next year. I haven't read any of the authors you picked up but Penelope Fitzgerald is one I'd like to try.

  3. I know how it is with books - they're always looking for a good home. Small Blessings looks really good.

  4. I thought the main reason to donate books is to make room for new ones ;-)

  5. I've read Cossé's books, this one and others. I like her writing. by the way, her first name is Laurence, a very common French woman's name

  6. Wonderful choices Diane. We have also donated a whole pile of books recently. Hard to let them go but glad they will be read by someone who will enjoy them all over again.

  7. I know, soon as we get rid of some books, more just seem to sneak in on to our selves - no doubt to be enjoyed at some future point.

  10. Nice selections! I've only heard of Small Blessings, and heard it was a very good read. It just slipped off my radar, I guess. Enjoy those!
