A Dog and His Seeing - Eye Guide

Some of you may have already seen this around the web, but when my dear friend Pam sent this my way, I just felt like I had to share it. The pair were in need of a forever home, and it seems that they have found one.

Lily is a Great Dane that has been blind since a bizarre medical condition required that she have both eyes removed. For the last 5 years, Maddison, another Great Dane, has been her sight. The two are, of course, inseparable.

"People will forget what you said; People will forget what you did.
But people will never forget how you made them feel."

  5. What a way to start my day, I am all choked up! Those are wonderful photographs and a great story. And, as I set off to chaperone a bunch of dancers for a weekend in Vegas at a dance convention those are words of wisdom!

  17. I recently came across a similar story about an elephant and a dog. The dog actually rolls over and lets the elephant 'pat' her stomach - 'pat' being with one of those massive feet that, you know, could squish you oh so easily.
