ReplyDeleteI really like the opening. The first sentence alone is a great hook. I want to read it now. :-)
ReplyDeleteAlmost everybody can relate to that opening sentence! I'm curious about what she's regretting and what it has to do with that house.
ReplyDeleteIt has been interested in those few sentences, one of those writing styles which is just right - not overblown but gives you lots of info in a few words. I'd keep reading!

They intro grabbed me right off. It's easy to identify with the character. I'd keep reading, even though I don't know anything about this book. I hope you're enjoying it.
