  2. Ruthann...thanks, I read Thirteenth Tale and enjoyed it.

  3. Great idea! How about the Mysteries of Udolpho, Uncle Silas, Mary Elizabeth Braddon novels?

  4. Mrs. B....I hadn't heard of any of those, but I just found a few more (Sarah Waters) for this challenge. Thanks for the suggestions.

  5. I think this sounds like a great Challenge. Good Luck. I also LOVED The Thirteenth Tale.

  6. OH know! I LOVE Gothic literature, but I promised myself not to join too many challenges this year. What to do....what to do.....

    Love your list of books!

  7. Great reading choices! Looking forward to these reviews.

  8. Ooohh... I'll watch out for your reviews!! :) Not a Gothic fan really, but you have fun!!

  9. This challenge sounds like a fun one! I hope you enjoy your picks, Diane. Several of those are ones I'd like to read one day. The Woman in White was so good, I thought.

  10. I thought I would be all done with adding challenges and then you had to post about this one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

have fun while I sit here ruminating on whether or not I should join!!

  11. It looks like you have a really great list here! I love both Sarah Waters and Wilkie Collins. Armandale (by Collins) is going to be my next big selfish read.

  12. You will not be disappointed with Wilke Collins, especially with A Woman in White. I just reread it this winter and loved it all over again.

  13. Woman in White is really great. Hope you enjoy it. I'm planning to read the Moonstone this year as well.
