I'm still wishing you the best of luck on the library job! I guess they are pretty thorough in the interview process having spent 3 hours with you!! It's been a LONG time since I went on an interview, but I'm sure you are happy that that part is over.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a full week of reading ahead for you too! I'm also reading Wench. I look forward to your review of A Gate At the Stairs, as I've had it in my hand numerous times at the bookstore...
Have a great week!
Diane, good luck. I know it's hard to wait to see the results. That was a long interview schedule!
ReplyDeleteI'm interested to hear your thoughts on Wife's Tale and also Wench. Both in my TBR.
GL with the position..and my mantra has always been everything happens for a reason too, but I'm thinking you are the best candidate. Will keep fingers crossed for you.

I, for one, am feeling that lost hour of sleep today! Keeping my fingers crossed for you with the job...
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the job! Who wouldn't want to work at the library. I'm really surprised there weren't more job seekers.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see you loved The Wife's Tale. I won that one recently and am anxiously awaiting for it to arrive.
Good luck on the library position! I hope you get it (if it's meant to be) and not (if there's something better waiting for you).
ReplyDeleteKay, Cheryl, Joanne and Kaye -- thanks for the sweet comments and good wishes for the job.
ReplyDeleteThere actually were loads of candidates for the job (near 50) but they only interviewed 5 of us. I'll keep you posted. Have a great Sunday.
Suzanne....borrow DO NOT BUY A Gate at the Stairs -- disappointing so far.
ReplyDeleteI'm sending positive thoughts your way about the job!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the job! They must be seriously considering you if they took 3 hours!
ReplyDeleteYour reading week sounds good - it should take your mind off wondering how it went!
It is painful to lose and hour of reading - I'll have to make up for it:)
ReplyDeleteCrossing my fingers for you!
I think everything happens for a reason too. Hope you get a good call from the library this week :)
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with your interview. I guess a library is one of the best places a book lover can work!
ReplyDeleteI totally forgot to spring forward.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with the job hunt.
Good Luck!!! Fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you think of Wench and House Rules! Good luck with the job. Waiting to hear is always the hardest part!
ReplyDelete3 hours! Wow! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHope you get the job! I finished another book in Robyn Carr's Virgin River Saga this week and started a new book, which I am loving. It's called Casting Off and is about a single mother with a scary past spending a summer in Ireland learning about knitting "ganseys" (sweaters) for a book she's writing. I LOVE this book so far. It has fascinating characters and is beautifully written.
ReplyDeleteI still don't understand why you guys have a different date for spring forward to us.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get the job. Three hours is a long time to be interviewed for.
Thinking good thoughts for you - hoping you get the job!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the job! My fingers are crossed for you!
ReplyDeleteViv---probably the same reason you have a different Mother's Day...LOL
ReplyDeleteAlyce, Kathy, C.B, S.B, Stacy, Harve...thanks for the well wishes.
Best of luck on getting this job! Oh to work at a library would be a dream; as long as the employees are friendly. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
ReplyDeleteToday is so beautiful that I am lured away from any reading at all. This sunshine, this pale azure sky with no clouds, the promise of rambling in a bookstore. -Well not getting away from books altogether.
ReplyDeleteI lost an hour of sleep, and it was so annoying! :) But I got some chores done, and that was welcome! Keeping my fingers crossed that you get the job!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the job! I hope you get some good news soon!
ReplyDeleteI really wish you luck with the job! And I'm glad you liked The Wife's Tale, I really liked it too. :)
ReplyDeleteAlayne - The Crowded Leaf
A 3 hour interview? Holy smokes! You had a great book week too!
ReplyDeleteHers is hoping the job is yours :)

ReplyDeleteI'll keep my fingers crossed for you on the library job..they would be crazy not to hire you!!! Your upcoming reading week looks great....Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWow! I'm really late visiting this today!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the job! It sounds like a great opportunity.
I've got House Rules on my list this week, too! I kept thinking there were other books I needed to read first, but it was simply calling to me! I'll post about my "current reads" tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteGood luck with the job! I'm hoping it's yours. What a dream job though. Really, who wouldn't want to work in a library?!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get the job!
ReplyDeleteI am so sleepy this morning. I had to take some NyQuil last night and I was soooo half asleep this morning when the alarm went off. I am still a little tipsy from that medication but I'm at work trying to keep the eyes open.
I finished The Help yesterday and started Mockingbird but it's really hard to read as it
is from the point of view of a girl with Asperger's.
Wow ... 3 hours and meeting 20 employees? That is some interview. Continuing to keep my fingers crossed for you!
ReplyDeleteI really, really hope that you land this job, and will be thinking good thoughts for you about it. I must say though, that interview sounds taxing! Please keep us updated with your news on this!
