Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that that arrived during the previous week. Created by Marcia @ The Printed Page, this month's host is: Laura @ Library of Clean Reads. Here is what arrived last week:
I realized that I really had only purchased a couple of books in 2011 (running list - HERE), so I decided to remedy that a bit. Many of these were suggested by ALL of YOU book enablers out there.
- Sweet Thursday; John Steinbeck
- Travels with Charley in Search of America; John Steinbeck
- The Group; Mary McCarthy
- Someone at a Distance; Dorothy Whipple
- Little Lost Boy; Laski
- Excellent Women; Barbara Pym
These arrived from various publishers:
- The Sandalwood Tree; Elle Newmark (Simon and Schuster)
- Bird House; Kelly Simmons (Simon and Schuster)
- As Husbands Go; Susan Isaacs (Simon and Schuster)
- The End of Everything; Megan Abbott (Hachette)
- Pinkalicious; Kann (Spanish Edition...makes me sorry I took French in school) - Harper Collins
- Cooking with Fernet Branca; James Hamilton-Patterson (Europa - sent by PBSwap Member)
Hope that you had a great week in books!
