  1. Sounds like a nightmare, hope it's over soon and that things (electricity, etc) are back up and running soon. Stay safe!

  6. Heat is good, and sometimes I love the adventure of living without electricity. Candle light and books with blankets. Hope it isn't too atrocious.

  7. I had been wondering whether you were among the thousands and thousands without power. What a nightmare, but so glad you have heat now. I guess this is a time when you're happy to go to work. Good luck.

  14. Wasn't this "little " storm nuts? So wrong. I hope it doesn't mean we're in for a horrible winter. Stay warm and dry!

  22. That's terrible. We lost power but only for 4 or 5 hours... Last year we lost power for a few days in December, though, and it was not fun!

  23. We are getting our first taste of winter here today so I'm extra sympathetic to your 'no heat' plight. So glad you at least have that back. You can still read by flashlight or candlelight - but heat is a must-have.
Hope everything returns to normal soon.

  25. Oh my, it's usually me that gets the snow first. Hope you're all doing ok now.

  26. You got the worst of it that's for sure. Down here we had a few hours of snow but it melted as soon as it hit the ground. Glad you at least got your heat back. Take care. Denise x
