Hosted at Mailbox Monday Blog for the month of October.
Despite purging many physical copies of books lately and opting for eBooks, I still managed to acquire (7) new books this past week which I hope to enjoy.
- Magnificence; Lydia Millet (really looking forward to this one)- Thanks to WW Norton Co
- Fairy Tales from the Brothers Grimm: A New English Version; Pullman (Thanks to Viking)
- Vengeance; Benjamin Black (PBS member)
- The Love Song of Jonny Valentine; Teddy Wayne (Thanks to S&S-Free Press)
- A Winter Dream; Richard Evans (audio - thanks to Simon and Schuster)
- Cat Telling Tales; Shirley Rousseau Murphy (thanks to Avon/Harper)
- Need You Now; James Grippando (thanks to Harper)
Love Harlan Coben's books.

ReplyDeleteWonderful set of books, Diane! I, too, am gaining a whole new appreciation for reading on my e-reader (a nook Simple Touch). On Friday I bought one with the Glowlight (cause who doesn't need an extra nook?!) and I love it! I can read it anywhere without a light. Anyway, maybe that would be my entry for Mailbox Monday. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat bunch! Hmmmmm, Cats Telling Tales sounds good!
ReplyDeleteA very nice mailbox for you, enjoy!

ReplyDeleteMy Mailbox
I have been on a book purge too - finally moving some books on that I know I won't read at this point. It is still very hard to let go! But I went to a library sale this weekend and bought NOTHING - was very proud!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that the case? No matter how many books you get rid of, you still get more coming in.
ReplyDeleteI think you got some great books. I'm curious about Pullman's fairy tale book!
ReplyDeleteAwesome books! It's been a while and I'm happy to be back! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteNice variety. Most of these titles are new to me. I suppose I should try and eReader one of these days. The paper books are beginning to overwhelm my shelves again.
ReplyDeleteNice mailbox....ENJOY!!!
