How was your month in books? Any exciting plans for October?
All your books read rank at a 3 or above - that sounds like a pretty good reading month. I hope it continues into the month of October!
ReplyDeleteYou sure had some good ones in there!
ReplyDeleteThat’s a good reading month, hope this month is a good!
ReplyDeleteI also enjoyed Daughters of Erietown in September. And I used to work with Lisa Unger years ago when we both worked for what was then Putnam Berkley. The Lady in the Lake was not my favorite Lippman but I usually enjoy her books (and she is a big Betsy-Tacy fan).
ReplyDeleteI'd love to read that Alex Trebek book. YOu did great though. Happy Spooktober!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing what you think of The Death of Vivek Oji
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked The Vanishing Half ... I did too ... it seemed to be the book of the summer since I saw it all over the place. I like how you mix print, ebook & audios --- as I do too!
ReplyDeleteI have The Death of Vivek Oji and look forward to reading it. I like the title Gustavo: The Shy Ghost and need to check on it.
ReplyDeleteYou're the second person to mention Hieroglyphics today so I'm intensely curious about that one. I hadn't heard of it until this morning. Hope you have a good October!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a great reading month, Diane. I am glad to see you enjoyed The Vanishing Half. I am looking forward to that one too. I hope you have a great October!
ReplyDeleteGreat list of books you read in September!
ReplyDeleteSadly, homeschool reading and the upcoming election have really put the kabosh on my fun reading. Too much on my plate to sit quietly with a book. I'd like to say I'm trying but I really don't have the energy for the lie :)
ReplyDeleteI am so looking forward to The Vanishing Half. I liked Unsheltered better than you did, but I wouldn't say it's my favorite Kingsolver. I also want to read The Daughters of Erietown.
ReplyDeleteHappy October!
You are still doing really well with your reading. I fell off the cliff this week with my reading. Will get back to it but who can concentrate with all that is going on. You think it can't possibly get worse and then it does.
