A Dead Hand; Paul Theroux was one I got rather inexpensively.

The Red Thread; Ann Hood  (sent to me by a Paperback Swap member).

The Wrong Mother; Sophie Hannah was one I ordered....84 cents plus shipping:)

  11. I almost bought a copy of The Red Thread a few months ago, but didn't end up getting it. After that it just kind of quietly slipped off my radar. I will have to rectify that!! I hope that you enjoy all your new books, and I must say the cover for A Dead Hand looks really cool!

  21. Diane...I read Diamond Ruby for Historical Novel Review. Loved it! The review isn't out yet, but even I the non-sports person liked this one. Ruby is a a rare find...strong, intelligent and likable.
