ReplyDeleteI'm aggravated with James Patterson right now, but intrigued by the Merry Christmas, Alex Cross selection? Will be interesting to see what you thing :)
ReplyDeleteI vowed off Patterson, however, this one is short and I like Alex Cross and Christmas, so I'll give it a shot.
DeleteEnjoy your books and audios, Diane!
ReplyDeleteI'll be watching for your thoughts on Merry Christmas, Alex Cross. Enjoy your stack! Here's MY MONDAY MEMES POST
ReplyDeleteI just read yesterday that Patterson and co writers put out 10 books a year. That's a lot of books! Enjoy all your new reads/listens.
ReplyDeleteI sort of gave up on him when he et al started cranking them out monthly, but Christmas Cross is worth a shot for me --short one.
DeleteTestament of Mary appeals to me, but I have to read Toibin's Brooklyn first! Enjoy your new books--great selection :)
ReplyDeleteI liked Brooklyn, so I was curious about this one. Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving Jane.
DeleteEnjoy your new books, Diane. Especially the audiobooks!
ReplyDeleteThere's a Christmas book with Alex Cross in it? I'm intrigued.

My Mailbox Monday
Enjoy your new books. Is that a new one by Connelly? I'll have to check it out!
ReplyDeleteYes, Kathleen, it actually releases tomorrow.
DeleteColm Toibin is one of my favorite authors - I haven't read the one you received yet but am looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteWill be curious to see what you think of The Testament of Mary. I love Colm Toibin!
ReplyDeleteOooh...lots of suspense this week - looks like a collection my husband would especially love!
ReplyDeleteHave you really read 125 books this year?? Wow. I am impressed. I've been averaging about 6 a month, but I've read quite a few REALLY BIG books this year.

Book By Book
I don't read Patterson anymore and I've never read the Alex Cross books, but I find it interesting that there's a Christmas one. Happy reading!!
ReplyDeleteAudio books abound!! Looks like fun to me!
ReplyDeleteHi Diane,
ReplyDeleteWhilst I am not a personal fan of audio books, you have three good ones this week, that I wouldn't mind reading in print form.
I have found recently that I can't read James Patterson very often, as I find his books rather insubstantial and repetitive, however 'Alex Cross' is a series I have been following and is fine if I don't read the books too close together.
Thanks for sharing your finds this week,
Yvonne
