First Chapter First Paragraph Tuesday Intros - It's. Nice. Outside; Jim Kokoris

Every Tuesday I host First Chapter First Paragraph Tuesday Intros where I share the first paragraph sometimes two from a book I am reading or thinking about reading soon. (I received this copy for review recently and really like the sound of it).

It's. Nice. Outside - Jim Kokoris

(Intro)

What do you think -- keep reading or pass?

  1. I am definitely curious now...I am wondering why the father is so miffed about caring for the baby alone? I would keep reading.

  3. The cover caught my attention first. I like the mystery created in that first paragraph such as - who is Mary and what's wrong with the baby? I'd keep reading.

  4. What a great cover and title! That alone would make me curious about this book. The intro though has me interested to. I definitely want to know what's going on. I hope everything is okay, but somehow I don't think it will be that easy.

  5. Sounds like there's something seriously wrong with the baby since he has to have tests at the hospital. I already dislike the dad because he's angry and resentful when he should be focused on what's going on with his child. I'd keep reading to find out what's going on.

  12. The cover caught my eye...now though I need to know what is the problem. What results are they waiting for? Will it be very sad or hopeful? I'd continue.
