Gorgeous view, but where would you put your book cases?

I absolutely adore this living room, I just love contemporary design! So, if I could have this room, I will also need to have a separate room that I can have as my study, and perhaps in that one, I'd have one area for a window, and the rest would be floor to ceiling bookshelves!
ReplyDeleteA little too sterile for me. I dont like the wide open spaces because it feels like I am going to fall off the edge of the earth!
ReplyDeleteLOL, i agree. It ultra modern and i love the colour combination but if i can't find a place to put my books....well...LOL
ReplyDeleteSo true :)
ReplyDeleteWhile this is a lovely room that I would like to visit, I am not sure that I could live in this environment. I prefer a more cozy, lived-in look.
Every room has 4 walls, I only see 2.

Exactly! And where are the curtains or blinds? I want my privacy and my books. :)
ReplyDeleteLove that view! I would run low bookcases with clean lines behind the couches. Then of course I would need an extra room with actual walls so I could "stack 'em to the ceiling"!
ReplyDeleteIndeed! I guess one bedroom would have to be the library.
ReplyDeleteYou are right-I could never live here-I have too much clutter in my books for this room.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, but you're right about the bookshelves!
ReplyDeleteWell, with a view like that, I'm sure I have another room nearby with an entire wall of built-in bookcases and a moving ladder!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful view, but a little stark for my taste.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that what the floor is for? lol
ReplyDeleteSo true...it is beautiful though!
ReplyDeleteWhat about having a separate room full of books with contemporary designs and beautiful artwork? Ahhhhh...
