Mailbox Monday - October 18, 2010

Mailbox Monday for October is being hosted by Avis @ She Reads and Reads. Here's an opportunity to share what books arrived in your mailbox last week.  Here's what came my way (all unsolicted):

    I am so drawn to Merry Christmas Ghost. That is just my kind of book and festive too!

    I did a Christmas book challenge last year and am hoping to do the same this year - Merry Christmas Ghost sounds ideal.

    I've not heard of any of these but they definitely sound great. I agree with you about the last two books. Enjoy them!

    I want to hear about the Cornell book. Those Europa Editions are nicely bound. I've discovered some great writers via their publishing house.

    These are all such great titles, especially the Art of Losing. Thanks for sharing :}. My find of the week is a book called, "Borneo Tom," written by a retired biology teacher named Tom McLaughlin. The author has documented his adventurous trip to Borneo along with some really great sketches. What I enjoyed about this one is he has discovered love, marriage and fatherhood at almost 60 in a very exotic region of the world.
