Mailbox Monday is
a gathering place for readers to share the new books that arrived at
your home the previous week. It's a great chance to explore some great
book blogs in the process. Hosted this month at: A Sea of Books
- In Malice Quite Close; B. Ryder - Viking
- The Magicians; Lev Grossman (read this one previously/enjoyed it)
- The Magician King; Lev Grossman - Viking
- Mice; Gordon Reece - Viking
- Vaclav and Lena; Haley Tanner - paperbackswap
I'm intrigued by Mice and In Malice Quite Close. I hope all of your books are winners!
ReplyDeleteGreat mailbox. I hope you enjoy The Magician's King. I really liked the first novel in the series (trilogy?).
ReplyDeleteWow! You've got some thrillers there that stress me out just reading the descriptions! I'm putting MICE right onto my wish list!

I have never heard of any of these books before. The Magicians looks like a good read.
ReplyDeleteVaclav and Lena sounds wonderful. I heard a radio interview with the author and I immediately added it to my wishlist. You lucked out getting it so quickly through paperbackswap.
ReplyDeleteGreat books!
ReplyDeleteI really want to read The Magicians by Lev Grossman - I read some reviews describing it as an "adult version of Harry Potter".
Happy Reading!
I like the cover of Mice, I think I need to look into that book.
ReplyDeleteI didn't care for The Magicians all that much. I thought it was too much of a hodge podge.
All new to me so waiting to see what you think of them. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteThe Magician King...what is this? I still haven't read The Magicians and now there is a Magician King! I am so behind!!
ReplyDeleteNice selection. I'm not familiar with any of these. I'll have to watch for your reviews.

ReplyDeleteAs usual it looks like you received some interesting books. We had a mail strike here for a while and mail is just starting to catch up now so my mailbox has been pretty slow.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to reading those Lev Grossman books. I read Codex a couple of years back and enjoyed it. Thought I'd mention that I FINALLY replied to your comment left over at my blog back in April (Queen of the Night post). Yeah, I've been slacking on the blog front!
