How was your month for books?
You had a great month! August was sure a strange one for all of us on the east coast!
ReplyDeleteGood month! Happy September reading!
ReplyDeleteGreat month. I'm hoping to read The Night Circus next month. Hopefully I'll get it from the library soon!
ReplyDeleteQuite the exciting month in your neck of the woods! Looks like you got some good reading in too :)
ReplyDeleteMice looks more and more appealing as I see everyones reviews. Hope September turns out to be just as good (minus the natural disasters, of course).
ReplyDeleteMy month in reading is still dragging on. I'm reading two books that seem to require only small snippets of time before I lose interest. Maybe I should move on.
ReplyDeleteIt was definitely an August to remember! I'm always sorry to see summer end, even if fall is my favorite time of year. Happy September.
ReplyDelete4.5 for Maine? i have seen a lot of good reviews..will have to check this one out.
ReplyDeleteFantastic reading month for you! I moved A Good Hard Look up in my stack because of your recommendation! Off to see how my August fared.
ReplyDeleteIt was a weird month, wasn't it? I think you did a great job with the reading, and you read some really interesting stuff. Good luck with September's reading goals!
ReplyDeleteI don't like August, but Sept. is my favorite month of the year. I feel like new beginnings and the cool nights mean a good night's sleep. Happy September!
ReplyDeleteGreat month Diane! I love seeing that you have enjoyed most of the books you have read this year.
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for a quiet September, windows open, cooler weather...:)
Have a great day!
Hopefully it will be a quite September as far as natural disasters go!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you survived all that nature tossed your way in August! It looks like you had a fab month of reading. I've been meaning to read Bel Canto for a long time.
ReplyDeleteI hope to find some time to squeeze in the Night Circus book in between review copies (I'll have to get it from the library since I didn't get an ARC). I've got a lot of review copies for September though. It always seems to be that way. :)
The earthquake was definitely a thing to remember. It took me such a long time to realize what it was. If it had been any stronger, I would still be sitting at my PC wondering what was happening, lol!
ReplyDeleteYou had a fab month in books. I hope September is just as awesome!
It was quite the month as far as natural disasters here wasn't it?
ReplyDeletewhere do you live and how in the world do i get that kind of weather? we've had 20 plus days of 100 plus degrees. today was cooler than most days though at only 94 degrees (yay!) i'm completely jealous of your weather!!
ReplyDeleteI loved Maine on audio -- glad you did too. Here's to calmer weather ahead.
