Got new books? Share them on your blog by joining in on Mailbox Monday. Our September host is: Kristen @ BookNAround .

I went a little Europa Crazy with (5) new acquisitions. Several came from PBS members over the last few weeks. The other, Victorine; Maude Hutchins is a NYRB classic that I purchased.

The above are September and October releases

  6. I really enjoyed Chocolat so I followed your link on the Joanne Harris book, Peaches for Father Francis, to discover it's a sequel to Chocolat, which puts it on my own TBR list.

Also, ever since I read Lacuna, I've been interested in Frida Kahlo--I'll be interested to read how you find that book.

    Enjoy your new books!

  19. The only book known to me from this wondrous list is the Roma Tearne one. A good one - immigrants, second generation immigrants, assimmilation and generally very good all round.
