DeletePurples in the fall are my favourite!
ReplyDeleteWhat sort of flowers are those. I love purple flowers.
ReplyDeleteI believe they are sweet peas, snap dragons and some form of aster, but I'm not positive as I didn't plant them.
DeleteGorgeous flowers...and I love purple. Even the purple creature. Could it be a Purple People Eater? Remember that song...or maybe you don't. lol

DeleteWhat exactly is that? Too weird. Lol. I love the first pic. We're getting some beautiful weather right now so our flowers are hanging on. It'll be sad to see them go.

DeleteOkay I have tormented all of you long enough; The garden creature is: Purple Kohlrabi.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.livestrong.com/article/449240-how-to-cook-purple-kohlrabi/
Hmm interesting. That thing looks like a science experiment. The colors are lovely, though.
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful colors, the flowers. As for the creature below, no less colourful and lively, whatever it is. ;) I don't have a snapshot for today, but a review of Midnight's Children the movie instead. But I enjoy hopping around looking at others' photos.
ReplyDeleteMust be something in the air... I have flowers on my post as well! My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/W9O2Z
ReplyDeleteThose sure are pretty!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed looking at the photographs!
ReplyDeleteHere is my Saturday Snapshot post!
How I love fall asters ... where I grew up in northern New York State, those deep purple asters grow in drifts in the fields and meadows ... so beautiful they make me a bit homesick!
ReplyDeleteThe asters are lovely. The bunnies ate all of mine. Most of my summer flowers are still blooming. Hopefully no frost for another month or so. We narrowly missed frost Saturday night.
ReplyDeleteLove how they both abide by the same color scheme! If only I could garden...probably, the issue is that rather than weeding I'm reading. Certainly not watering. ;)
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are so beautiful! It makes me sad that mine are on the way out as Fall comes rolling in. I thought the purple kohlrabi was some kind of garden ornament until I followed your link! I'd never heard of it before but it sounds interesting. :)
ReplyDeleteOK I was going to ask what that "creature" was too but I see you answered in other comments so I won't ask but I will say LOVELY colors!
