Mail Box Monday - June 15, 2009


A huge box arrived on Friday from Simon and Schuster. Inside were (4) review books:
I was also thrilled to receive a beautiful hardcover of Maryann McFadden's new book (pub date July 7th) : So Happy Together. The book is set here in New England. I thought her last book : Richest Season, The, was excellent. (Thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book).

    In the Kitchen is meant to be really good. I am jealous that you got it for review! I shall look out for The Richest Season too, as I like reading about New England.

    I met Mary Ann McFadden last year. She came to talk to our bookclub. She is a great writer. It was nice that you got an advanced copy of her new book!
