Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells....Holiday Books for 2010 are Here!

Are you a seasonal reader like me?

What I mean is, I know some book lovers are seasonal readers:  summer themed books - get read only in summer; spooky ghost stories only in fall and of course Christmas type books only around the holidays.

Well I think it is a bit early, but not to early to place your orders or library reserves on some new 2010 holiday books.  Here are a few I came across - I'm not sure if I'll read too many, but at least one holiday mystery for sure.

How about some Christmas Books for the Little Ones ?

  1. It might seem early, but it will be here before you know it.

  2. I read a M C Bean Hamish Christmas mystery last year. I rather enjoyed it.
I don't normally read Christmas books, unless you count reading aloud A Christmas Carol to anyone who will listen (usually my son).

  7. I took part in a christmas reading challenge last year and found it really hard to get hold of books as I didn't particularly want to buy most of them and our library had little in the way of such books. Thanks for recommending these, if I decide to take part in the challege this year your list will be very useful.

  13. I'm not a seasonal reader - except for Christmas books. I thank you so much for the list. I'm going to click on them to see what I want to read. Many of the titles and authors are very appealing. I like to begin my Christmas reading in October.

  19. I did a post on upcoming holiday books on my Christmas blog during Christmas in July. There are some really good ones coming out. I hope to get my hands on a few!

I hosted a Christmas Reading Challenge last year and I'm going to have it again this year. It usually starts the day after Thanksgiving and goes until the end of December. This year I'm going to extend it until Twelfth night (epiphany). I love holiday reading!
