An uncommon Education looks interesting. I haven't read Grisham in ages, hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Hope to start Calico Joe tomorrow.
DeleteNice books Diane. These are all new to me. An Uncommon Education caught my eye and I love the cover art.
ReplyDeleteI thought it sounded good as well. we shall see.
DeleteI love the cover of An Uncommon Education--hope it's as good as it's cover :)
ReplyDeleteThe cover of Calico Joe reminded me of my copy of Shoeless Joe by Kinsella--I need to find a baseball book for this spring, and I should probably play "Centerfield" in the car, per the annual rites of spring.
Enjoy your books :)
Jane...I am anxious to read both, but Calico Joe comes first -- very anxious for that one.
DeleteI want to get my hands on a copy of Drop Dead Healthy. All of your books look good. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping the audio is good.
DeleteEnjoy our new books - I agree an Uncommon Education looks good!
ReplyDeleteThanks Harvee. I hope it is as good as it sounds.

ReplyDeleteThat one sounds just quirky enough:)

Thanks -- you too.
DeleteGreat mailbox! Enjoy....
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued by Calico Joe and The Land of Decoration.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Hope to read both in APril.
DeleteHi Diane,
ReplyDeleteSome great finds this week, from a diverse range of genres.
'The Land Of Decoration' was the one that caught my eye. This sounds like it could be an emotionally annoying kind of book yet one which I am sure will captivate me.
I generally like John Grisham, although I haven't read any of his for ages and I am not too sure whether 'Calico Joe' will have too much reference to baseball in it, which would spoil it for me.
An interesting post and another couple added to the TBR mountain ... thanks!
Have a good week,
Yvonne
Yvonne...liked your assessment "emotionally annoying" of Land of Decoration.
DeleteIts been awhile since I read John GRisham. You got a nice mix of books Diane. Enjoy them :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Cindy.
DeleteI haven't heard of these, but An Uncommon Education caught my eye. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks Anna -- hope it's as good as it sounds.
DeleteEnjoy Calico Joe! Drop Dead Healthy is intriguing.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nise.
DeleteI'm so jealous you already have your Drop Dead Healthy. I'm waiting for it with all the other readers to come out on April 10th.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how books get distributed. I find it very unpredictable. I couldn't get my hands on Calico Joe, and then I got 2 copies....geezz
DeleteI've been hearing a lot about AJ Jacobs latest book - I read The Year of Living Biblically - it was pretty funny.
ReplyDeleteAnd the Land of Decorations sounds good.
Enjoy!
Sue
Book By Book
Sue, I've been meaning to read that one -- heard it was fun.
DeleteFor some reason Calico Joe has me singing Shoeless Joe from Hannibal, Mo, from Damn Yankees! Curse you Diane!
ReplyDeleteSim...oh no ...sorry...LOL
Deletei haven't read any of these books, but i think i need to get my hands on drop dead healthy. i need someone to motivate me to work out. hope you enjoy these books!
ReplyDeleteToothy...you and me both; I'm an exercise slacker.
