Saturday Snapshot ~ She's Here!!!

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by:

Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don't post random photos that you find online.

I could hardly wait to introduce you to my first grandchild.

Meet Stella
Born Sunday, Earth Day, April 22

Stella arrived Sunday morning (16 days early) by C-Section (after 26 hours of labor).  She weighed 7 lbs and 15 ounces and was 20" long.  Mom, Dad and Baby are doing well.

Happy Grammie and Stella

I said I wasn't going to be one of those obnoxious grandparents who are always raving about their grandchild's accomplishments, and showing photos, but guess what? it's inevitable --- I've already begun. LOL

  1. Oh, congratulations. I didn't even do my Saturday Snapshot yet because I had to hurry to your blog to see your grandbaby. She's gorgeous. In the last picture she looks so much older than a newborn. She's obviously advanced.

    1. I think she probably looks older because she was C-Section. She lost nearly (1)lb in the first 5 days, so now the MD wants her to be gaining (1oz a day).

  10. Gorgeous little girl...and yes, I can already see the pride and joy in your expression and as you write the words. It has begun! Grandbaby love! Nothing quite like it....

Stella is a lovely name, and C-Section babies are so pretty (my daughter, the youngest was a C-Section baby).

Enjoy this time...she will grow up fast. You'll see my first grandbaby today in a series of shots.
