Here's what arrived last week. (Loving the covers and they sound like great summer books).
- The Cottage at Glass Beach; Heather Barbieri - (Harper Collins)
- The Folded Earth; Anuradha Roy - (Free Press)
It seems like it has been a long time since I've read a book by Roy. I'll be interested in seeing what you think about it.
ReplyDeleteHere's
my It's Monday! What Are You Reading? I hope you'll stop by and say hello!

I am hoping to read The Folded Earth very soon as well. Great books!
ReplyDeleteI agree, those covers are fabulous, definitely inspires me to sit and read!
ReplyDeleteMy mailbox post.. Please come visit =)
I really like both covers too!
ReplyDeleteI am intrigued by both covers as well. Do you ever judge a book by its cover? I often do and most of the time am not disappointed. But recently have joined a few challenges that had me choosing books not by cover but by title or editor. It has opened up a whole new avenue for me. See you really can "teach and old dog a new trick" !!
ReplyDeleteYou received two exciting books as I did! I also received The Folded Earth and I'm hoping we both love it! My second book is different from yours. I love the cover to The Cottage at Glass Beach and the title, both give me a feeling of warmth and happiness but the story sounds like one that's been overdone in recent years. I'm interested to read what you think of this book!
ReplyDeleteYes, they do look like wonderful summer reads. How time flies by, it's almost the end of April. I look forward to your reviews of them and your summer reads. ;)
ReplyDeleteI have and am excited about The Folded Earth. I'm already dreaming of warm evenings in my backyard, a cool drink, and a great book.
ReplyDeleteThey both look excellent to me.
ReplyDeleteA couple of new titles for me. Both sound good and pretty covers too.
ReplyDeleteVery nice mailbox, they sound good.

ReplyDeleteThe Cottage at Glass Beach looks good. I always love to read something set in a beach area for summer - even though I'm thousands of miles from an ocean.
