Saturday Snapshot
is hosted by Alyce of At Home With Books.
Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don't post random photos that you find online.
A few weeks ago I got invited to a "baby kitty shower" for this adorable new arrival. This gorgeous ragdoll cat is (3) months old. He joined the household of a friend who has (2) adult cats who detest each other, and now they have to contend with this new interloper. Their (12) year old large dog loves the kitty, and the kitty loves the dog as well.
Can you tell our cats hate when they see anyone getting ready for a business trip (or any trip period)? They are very good at making us feel guilty,
They look so adorable!

What is that cute kitty's name? It is funny how our pets know what is going on at home.
ReplyDeleteNot sure as the day I met him was the day of his arrival and he was unnamed. I was going to be something regal:)
DeleteI love the idea of a Kitty Shower!! I want her...have always wanted a ragdoll! Your cats are too funny...they will stop at nothing o make sure their owners feel terrible!!!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of a "kitty shower." That little one looks so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to remember a shower the next time I get a new pet! Nice shots!
ReplyDeleteThe perfect little fluffball!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a ragdoll cat; how adorable! And I never heard of a kitty shower but what a totally cute idea!
ReplyDeleteMy dog absolutely knows when we are getting ready for a trip and he starts keeping a very close eye on us, following us wherever we go. Animals really are amazing, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteWhat happens at a kitty shower? Do you take gifts. That household sounds very chaotic. Hope they all adjust to each other.
ReplyDeleteHere's Mine
(I didn't see your name on Alyce's blog for Saturday Snapshot. Mine disappeared last week, so thought I'd mention it in case that happened to yours.)
Kitty gifts like bed, hard hood, treats, todays etc....LOL
DeleteI hope the new kitty can stand up for himself - it sounds a tricky household.
ReplyDeleteI have cats like that! They sit on the bags and look pitiful and when we come home you can and they see you coming up the walk they start yowling and crying like you did a horrible thing by leaving them overnight.
ReplyDeleteThat is a cute kitten! So fluffy. And, my cat is like that. She hates when people go away and leave her alone.
ReplyDeleteOur animals are the same exact way...if I get a pair of socks out of my drawer or put on any kind of shoe, my German Shepherd starts going crazy...she knows it means "GO"!
ReplyDeleteShe is a cutie!!! Don't show my DH. He loves cats, and kitties are especially loveable.
ReplyDeleteA ragdoll cat! My mother used to have one. They're so fluffy :)
ReplyDeleteThat kitten is too cute! Life should be very interesting in that household - the adult cats may now find a common cause.
ReplyDeleteAww, those are both wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteA kitty shower? That takes the cake!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute new kitty! And I love how your cats are saying, "Just where do you think you're going?!"
ReplyDeleteHere's my Snapshot.
That little one is sure a cutie pie!
ReplyDeleteCats do seem to be able to anticipate travel -- I wonder if that's because as predators they anticipate the movements of others? Great shots!
ReplyDeleteAwe, your rag doll kitten is soooo cute! Our pets know just how to reach us, don't they?
ReplyDeleteA kitty shower... that's a new one for me!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize cats got annoyed if you left them for a few days. They always seem so independent. Perhaps they just don't want you to have a good time without them!
A kitty shower, that is so cute. The ragdoll kitten looks absolutely adorble. We have a ragdoll, and he's a lovely cat.
ReplyDeleteOh,yes, the "what do you mean you're going to leave????", "without me????". Oh, yes, we get that a lot, and you don't have to leave for more than a few minutes for it to happen, getting the house keys out is quite enough. :-)
I've told my husband that if we ever get a cat that's not a stray then I would love to have a ragdoll cat. We just got back from a trip and one of our cats has been blocking the front door - presumably so we can't leave again.
ReplyDeleteI had a dog who would crawl into my suitcase underneath the clothes in hopes that he'd be undetected and would travel along with me!
ReplyDeleteI've had a ragdoll cat now for 12 years...... my beloved Jack.
ReplyDeleteAnd he does this VERY thing when I bring the suitcases out. He KNOWS. He tries to get in them.... if I leave them unzipped for even a few seconds, he is on there.
They KNOW!
Great pics. The ragdoll is GORGEOUS!
Lovely fluffy kitty!! I have 2 cats that are very loving once we return from a trip.
ReplyDeleteLike your cover shot on this blog. Thanks for the lovely comments on my water lilly shot.
Awwww, that baby kitty is adorable. I love the picture of your cats on the luggage. Sam runs laps around everything when someone tries to leave. Our animals sure don't like their humans leaving at all!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of a Kitty Shower. I'm wondering what was served for eats or treats?
ReplyDeleteOMG I've always wanted a Ragdoll kitty, but with three current cats I can't justify it. Still I can live vicariously through others.
ReplyDeletePS Your cats are cute too!
Super cute. Kitty Shower?!?! Lol
ReplyDeleteWell, if anyone deserves a kitty shower, I guess it is this gorgeous boy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie!. Love kittens too!.
