Freckles (the one in the tub) meows constantly until my husband runs the faucet or tub for him. Lily, watches from the sidelines generally, wondering why he enjoys getting his face wet so much.

  2. Beautiful cats! I like that faucet, too. Much prettier than my rusty one!

  3. Ha, so cute! Lily is keeping a safe distance from all that water.

  4. Yes, I'm wondering why the one cat loves water, too...usually they really keep their distance!

    Great shot....

  5. We had a cat once that used to sit and look at the tub faucet and lick up any water left from someone's bath. He didn't want it turned on, but cleaned up the leftovers. LOL

    Cute picture.

  6. My dog used to love to play in the tub when he was a puppy, and especially liked to lick the leftover water from a shower which I found particularly gross.

  7. Freckles is silly :) They're both adorable!

  8. Great photo! I think of cats as animals who don't really like water

  9. I wouldn't like the wet part either, but tub hockey is fun!

  12. They are really funny. Our old cat used to love getting water in bathroom zink. He sat on the edge and watched it filling up, decided where to lap and preferred it to keep running till he was done so he was sure it was fresh. Sometimes one of his paws slipped in because he decided on a spot that was almost out of reach. I really look forward to having a cat again.

  14. Hilarious -- their personalities really come through in that shot!

  15. They are so cute!

My cats both hate being sprayed by water, but one of them prefers water fresh from the tap and when he hears us brushing our teeth he'll come running and beg for water. (We keep a special cup just for him.)

  16. What a sweet photo-my boy cat hops in the tub when it is wet. He is fascinated with water. When I soak in the winter he will stare at me in the tub for hours.

  17. I had a cat that did the same thing. I had to leave the water dripping so she could play in it. She also loved me to put about an inch of water in the bathtub and put ice cubes in it so she could bat them around.

  18. My cat watches me shower (voyeur) then jumps in as soon as I turn off the water. He doesn't want to get wet, but he loves being around the water. Weird.

  19. My parents had a cat that loved to drink water out of the tap...tub or sink. Every time you ran water she'd run up and demand her fair share of it.

Thanks for the pic, brought back some fun memories.

  20. Cats are such a riot. And that meowing at husbands, hilarious. Wait till my husband gets home his cat will have a few comments too. It must be cat week.

  21. The cats I used to have always, always run away from water.

  22. LOL, that is too much!... My cat likes to watch the water drip as well as drink from it... No longer drinks from a bowl!.

  23. LOL! Priceless shot. I love cats.

  24. Cats can certainly get what they want. They have trained us well.

  25. Now that is the cutest! Cats are great, we have five. We have a Maine Coon (my Telly Says model) that loves water too. Thanks for the smile.

  26. How cute! A kindred spirit with my Alice. My husband drained the spare bathroom sink twice this week without refilling it and Alice was beside herself. We really must have a talk with him!

    Very cute pic. =O)

  34. Such cute darlings. Our Jimmy expects the same thing (from the bathroom sink) from my husband, too funny!

  35. That is such an adorable picture. Freckles reminds me of our old cat Butterscotch. They are so amusing to watch.

  36. Our cats have a weird fascination with water as well. Very cute picture!

  37. That's such a cute picture! Believe it or not Sammy loves to have the shower spray in his face and is always looking to get into the tub. It's funny how they always manage to get their way with meowing or crying in Sam's case. lol.

  38. Wow...Freckles has your husband trained well :) Lily is just envious and wishing she wasn't afraid of water.

  39. LOL! The only way my cat will drink water anymore is from the faucet!

  40. I had a cat that used to love dipping her foot in water, but would then always look confused when her foot was wet. I miss having cats!
