Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by A Striped Armchair and Out of the Blue that encourages Bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library.
This weeks haul. (3) weeks (no renewals as they are all new books with others waiting for them:
- The Seance; Harwood (current read - very good)
- The Help; Stockett
- Honolulu; Brennert
- While My Sister Sleeps; Delinsky
- The Piano Teacher; Lee
- The Rose Variations; Chamberlain
- Tallgrass; Dallas (audio - current read - excellent)
- After You've Gone; Lent
You've got some good pics there. I had taken The Help out from the library but couldn't get to it because of course it's got so many holds. I ended up buying it instead. Errrrrrrrrrrrrrg. Happy Reading.
ReplyDeleteI loved The Help, but I haven't read any of the others on your list. Enjoy your books!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear what you think about The Help! You had a good library week...!
ReplyDeleteThose are some great selection! I'm interested in The Help, The Piano Teacher, and Tallgrass. Happy reading!

The Help is wonderful. I hope you enjoy it. I'm hoping to get to Honolulu soon too.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of books to check out from the library.
ReplyDeleteI own so many that I haven't read yet that I don't even know when I'll be looting my library.
Oh what a fun pile of books there. I really want to read The Seance and The Help. have fun!
ReplyDeleteYour post is why I've vowed to stay away from the library until I get my own shelves under control. Since fall, I have been very successful at staying away. However, I do look forward to the day I can browse and pick up library books again. It's so addictive.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a stack! The Piano Teacher looks good...my bookclub wants to read it when the paperback comes out.
