Mailbox Monday is hosted by Marcia @ The Printed Page. Join in the fun and check out what arrived in everyone's mailboxes last week by visiting Marcia's blog.
I'll be interested to read your thoughts on The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet. Though neither were quick reads for me, I liked both Cloud Atlas and Black Swan Green.
This is a wonderful selection of books. I loved Mitchell's Cloud Atlas (it's my all time favourite book) so I look forward to reading your review of Thousand Autumns.
PS: I just found your blog via blog hop and have just become a follower and posted your weblink in my hop post.
Color me jealous about Perfect Reader! I have Jacob de Zoet here too and since I have liked all the previous Mitchell books I've read, I am looking forward to it.
Perfect Reader and the David Mitchell book both look really good! Have you read his other book, Cloud Atlas? I have it, but have not yet read it. I've heard it's very complex. I will be checking back for your reviews of these great books!
These look like great books. I've been seeing The Listener around here and there and I really like the cover of the second book. Perfect Reader also sounds interesting. Looking forward to your reviews!
Thanks for taking the time to visit and double thanks for any comments. If you ask a question in your comments, I will try to reply to it here, or by email if your settings allow me to do so. Thanks again for visiting.
Both the title and the cover of Perfect Reader pique my interest. I'll be watching for your review.
ReplyDeleteThese all look wonderful, but especially Perfect Reader.
