Mailbox Monday

In October, Mailbox Monday is hosted by Serena at Savvy Verse & Wit. Thanks Serena !

I was quite excited as I opened packages from publishers and authors this week. I had blogged about a couple of these books previously as ones that I was looking forward to reading.  Have you read, or are you hoping to read any of these?
Hope you had a great week for new books!

  5. I have the hardcover for The Marriage Plot to but I think I'm going to listen. This is the first choice for my new neighborhood book club and one of the gals is not enjoying it, at all. Since I picked it... I'm hoping it's just her.

    Have a great week!

I've seen The Time in Between on several blogs and The Girl on the Cliff looks interesting.
Treasure Island, a Europs book that's great! and Immortal Bird sounds good, too.

    Enjoy them all, Diane!

  12. I have a copy of Model on my bookshelves from when it first came out. It's a really interesting book - so much so that I've read it a couple of times. It sits next to A Thing of Beauty another great modelish book. I recommend both highly.

  26. Loved Middlesex by Eugenides and am wondering how The Marriage Plot will stack up to that one. Bright and Distant Shores caught my attention on Goodreads because of the Chicago setting. A Historical Fiction novel set in one of my fave cities-sounds right up my alley. Enjoy all your books!

  33. All of these titles look so good! I need to get back in a good reading groove. Since school has been back in session, I just can't seem to balance teaching/planning/grading, and reading, too. Maybe some of these books will get me back in the swing of things.
