Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce @ AT Home With Books.
Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are
clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in
the caption is entirely up to you. Please don't post random photos
that you find online.
Last weekend we took a little ride and came across a small country fair. These little guys caught my attention, and actually the animals were actually the best part of the ride. We bought a 10" homemade apple pie for $14.00 that looked wonderful, but it ended up in the trash ---worst pie ever. Moral of the story -- don't judge a pie by it's beautiful thick outer crust. [ the inside was uncooked and it looked and tasted like someone dumped a tin of cinnamon on the apples]

The animals are so sweet - too bad the pie wasn't.
ReplyDeleteWell these creatures are just adorable! Too bad about the pie though :-(
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the animal photos! Too bad about the pie, though.
ReplyDeleteI hate spending a lot of money for something that ends up in the trash.
Oh! Their faces just kill me - so sweet. I just about didn't see the second white bunny.
ReplyDeleteThe animal pictures are great! That goat (it is a goat right with the beard?)!
ReplyDeleteOK, how can someone mess up an apple pie. Seriously, it is one of the easiest to make in my book. I mean, you can buy filling in a can. LOL
Such cute pictures! Too bad about the pie.
ReplyDeleteAdorable photos! It is strange how some folks seem to cook with looks -- not taste -- in mind!
ReplyDeleteAwwww, this bunnies are so sweet. Too bad about the apple pie. It's one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteWhat a funny bunch of characters! That guy in the bottom picture looks so pleased with himself, doesn't he? His teef are crooked and adorable :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a shame about the pie! Love the bunnies - those ears are just too adorable.
ReplyDeleteanimals at county fairs are so much fun! I am glad that you pointed that there was a white bunny under the other one because i just thought he was SUPER fat! :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely photos.
ReplyDeleteMy daugther will not walk past llamas at the wildlife parks as she is scared they will spit. :)

Bummer about the pie, but the animals sure are cute!
ReplyDeleteThose bunnies are too cute. Thanks for cheering me on in the Read-a-thon!
ReplyDeleteThose animals are so cute! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLove the animal pics...the last one looks like an alpaca? I love pies in the fall from fairs and markets...sorry to hear that the pie was so awful.
ReplyDeleteAnimals have so much personality!! You can see it all over their faces!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the bunnies! And the fella with the teeth. I think he's sweet--don't let the dentist near him!
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame about the pie--it takes talent to mess up an apple pie.
Here's my Snapshot: http://myreadersblock.blogspot.com/2011/10/saturday-snapshot-october-22.html
Wow, that's shocking about the pie. I mean: what Kay said! LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of the animals. Sorry the pie was bad. People who don't bake pies shouldn't donate them to fairs. Here's Mine
ReplyDeleteBad pie is a crime against nature! But at least you got to see some cute, fuzzy animals!
ReplyDeleteMy Snapshot is here.
Aw, those animals are so cute! I hate it when that happens with something I'm looking forward to, especially dessert.
ReplyDeleteThe last photo and your caption cracked me up!! That stinks about the pie..good Lord..14.00 bucks!!!???
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet looking animals. They even posed for you.
ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed when people try to modify an apple pie recipe... it never works. The basic recipe, easily available, is perfect.
So sorry about the pie -- sometimes appearances can be very deceiving.
ReplyDeleteLove the pics -- especially of the lop eared bunny -- I always wanted one of those!
Love the animal pictures. The second guy looks like he's well aware how photogenic he is. The only time I heard of someone messing up an apple pie was a story my sister-in-law told about her first one. She didn't peel the apples!! :D
ReplyDeleteOh! Oh! Oh! I love the photos, especially as I have kept animals such as, or similar to, these in the pictures. Nostalgia time for me!
ReplyDeleteOh how disappointing that the pie was awful! I can't believe they were selling bad pies...how very strange!
ReplyDeleteThe rabbits are adorable! All of the animals are cute but I've alwasy had a very soft spot for plushy, chubby bunnies with their great ears!
Those bunnies are precious! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment during the readathon :)
ReplyDeleteLooks can be deceiving with food sometimes. Cute animals though!
ReplyDeleteThat sure is a good looking bunch!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh so cute and FLUFFY!! Too bad about the pie though!
ReplyDeleteOh love the pictures... how cute is that bunny!
ReplyDeleteAww, the bunnies are adorable! I'm sorry that the pie wasn't good. I guess the moral of the story is to not judge a book by its cover or a pie by the looks of the crust!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have all of them living at my house!! Beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteWhat cute animals! Love the photos, especially the last one.
ReplyDeleteSorry you got a bad pie. It's hard to tell just by looking.
