April Book Giveaways

The truth is, I've been a slacker as far as completing book reviews.  I'm reading, but just not writing.  Since I wanted something to post, I decided to give away a couple of new review books (I found myself with double copies of these).

The Uninvited Guests; Sadie Jones
May 1st - Harper

April 10th - Doubleday
US and International giveaway - If you want a chance to win one or both:
  • Leave a comment with your 1st choice if you win and a way to contact you
  • If you'd like an extra entry, you can follow me on Twitter and Tweet about the giveaway using: @Bibliophile_Sea in your tweet
  • Drawing will be held on Sunday April 15th.
  • Good Luck.

  2. I would love to win The Uninvited Guests by Sadie Jones. It looks like a combination of Downton Abbey and Agatha Christie.

  5. Hi Diane,

With me, it isn't so much that I am lax in getting started on writing my reviews, it is the fact that they seem to take me so long to complete. I have come to the conclusion that I must over-analyse a book, either that or I just waffle on too much!

Either way, I often find myself with gaps in my posting schedule, although there is generally one meme or another on the go, where I can take the opportunity to promote the next book I am going to read.

I really love the sound of the Sadie Jones book. As Sadie doesn't appear to have a dedicated website, I have just spent an enjoyable few minutes reading a lovely interview that she did with the publisher, about her books and writing career to date.

'The Uninvited Guests' sounds like a great study in human behaviour and the Edwardian period, whilst the slightly comedic angle is a whole new genre for me to explore.

    Have a very Happy Easter,

    Yvonne

I can totally relate to not having anything to post, as I am in the same boat over here. I need to sit down and write a few reviews when I get the chance!
