  1. Ooh, tempting books! I've been wanting to read Arcadia....

Love your kitty-with-bunny-ears in the sidebar.

Thanks for visiting my blog, and I am sure I'm going to love the Anne Tyler book. She never disappoints. Love those quirky characters.

    Have a great week!

  5. I would have to say I'd be thrilled with all three of these books. I haven't heard about the Stephen King, but I've heard about Arcadia and, of course, I enjoy Chris Bohjalian

  8. I love the title and cover of the Stephen King--is it a horror story? I would read him more if he didn't write such disturbing stories! :)

  12. Dave is eagerly awating the Stephen King book. Have you read the series? He keeps trying to convince me I should, but it just doesn't sound like my "cup of tea".

I'm eagerly awating Grisham's latest, which I also see you have. It looks much more interesting.

    Have a happy reading week.

  15. Hi Diane,

I haven't read any Stephen King for years, but always used to love his horror books. It seems as though he is among the growing number of authors who have now re-invented themselves as fantasy authors, which I am afraid puts me off catching up with him again.

I love the sound of 'The Sandcastle Girls', as well as the brilliant cover art. This kind of story, which spans the generations and time zones, never ceases to captivate and hold me...A definite for my reading list.

Thanks for sharing and I hope that you have a great week,

    Yvonne
