FAVORITE BOOKS READ in 2016
June has slipped by and so has another Blogging Milestone
(I never expected to still be posting today)
Congratulations on 8 terrific years!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy; it flew by.
DeleteHappy Blogiversary! Looks like you had a great reading month!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, I did enjoy my June reads.
DeleteCongratulations, Diane! That's quite a milestone.
ReplyDeleteI've read and loved four of those books... am on the library hold list for Shelter.
Thanks Joann. I hope you love Shelter as much as I did.
DeleteI've wanted to read The Nest and Fates and Furies, the later of which I own. The only one from your list I've read is The Stranger, which I actually liked, but I think that was in part because of all the heavy reading I'd been doing for the Man Booker International Prize. I can hardly believe you've been blogging eight years! Don't they go by fast? And while sometimes it's almost an anchor round my neck, I can't imagine giving up the book chats and blogging friends such as yourself.
ReplyDeleteThe 8 years have flown by and, I've often thought about stopping but, I know I'd miss the blog if I did -- of course I would still reads the blogs of others like yours special blog.
DeleteCongats on 8 years! I know so much more about so many books because of you!
ReplyDeleteThanks Brian. I'm glad you've enjoyed my book related posts.

ReplyDeleteI only have Miller's Valley on my kindle from your 2016 favorites, but look forward to reading it this summer.
What a good month June was for you, overlooking the DNF, lol. Glad you had some wonderful reading times.
Thanks Rita, sometimes it's tough to keep blogging --feels like a job:) but, I do love the sharing among readers.

ReplyDeleteThis year, I discovered Donald E. Westlake's Dortmunder capers. They are a hilarious series of "crime" escapades. Not serious reading, but there you have it.
Thanks Debbie. I need to check out this new series you seem to love. Have a great summer.
DeleteNice! You had a great month. I posted my June list this evening. I want to read 13 books in July!

DeleteYou had a wonderful reading month, Diane. I'm reading the Fireman for a read-along this month. I am not too far into it, but enjoying it so far. I am eager to read The Woman in Cabin 10, even though I'm not quite done with In a Dark, Dark Wood. It's so good!
