Library Loot - June 5
It was one of those weeks when everything arrived at once. Most of these are (3) week books so I hope to get to most of them. Have you read any of these? Your thoughts?

I've not read any of these Diane. It looks like you've got some good ones though. I have A NIGHT TOO DARK here to read at some point. Love that Kate Shugak. I've also heard such good things about the MAJOR PETTIGREW book. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI have Mrs. Pettigrew's on my ipod but am holding off to listen to this until I get to the new house. I have heard wonderful things.
ReplyDeleteThe Cancer prevention Diet book is good - I read books like this but not this specific one.
Enjoy!
lol-That is quite the stack to get all at once. It looks like some good stuff in there though. Good luck getting through it all.
ReplyDeleteDiane, these are all new-to-me. Great-sounding titles--enjoy!
ReplyDeleteohh...I haven't read any of these:(
ReplyDeleteEnjoy reading and please do tell us how these books are.. :)
Luckily I haven't recently had days when all the holds come together, though that may change any time. You got some good ones!
ReplyDeleteI've not read any of these-they do look interesting though! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI love to see all those audiobooks!
ReplyDeleteMAJOR PETTIGREW is on my wish list. I'll look for your review, then choose between audio and print.
I so must read Major Pettigrew!! I love the looks of all of them...enjoy and good luck with the 3 week timetable!!
ReplyDeleteBursts and How we live and How we die look very interesting.
ReplyDeleteI've only heard of Mrs. pettigrew and couldnt get it either but its a good pile! Nice mix also.
ReplyDeleteI am drooling over your list Diane. Our library is closed to the public for two weeks! Sadly I did not know ahead of time or I would have stocked up. The book about cells looks good. Here is yet book that goes on my wish list.
ReplyDeleteThat's kind of why I stopped reserving books at the library - everything would come in at once.
ReplyDeleteMajor Pettigrew's Last Stand is on my list, so I look forward to reading your thoughts on it.
ReplyDeleteI have Major Pettigrews Last Stand on my to be read pile and I can't wait to start it! :) Maybe you'll read it first and I can get a gist of what you think about it! :)
ReplyDeleteThe only one I've read was Major Pettigrew, which I found quite boring -- although on audio it might be better.
ReplyDeleteI really want to read Major Pettigrew! I'll look forward to your review!
ReplyDeleteI read Major Pettigrew and was rather disappointed by it. It wasn't bad, it just didn't do it for me.
ReplyDeleteI won a copy of In the Shadow of the Cypress but haven't read it as of yet.
Mary...I ended up returning Major Pettigrew unread. I just did not think i would like it and too much else to read.
