Lots of great titles in there - it'll be hard to decide which one to read first. I hope they're all great!
ReplyDeleteI loved A Reliable Wife! The AAUW is having it's annual used book sale June 16-18 in our town, and I'm half scared to death to go for fear of what I'll pick up. I still haven't read most of the books from 2009! I'm sure you're much better than I. ;)
ReplyDeleteI see some good titles in your haul. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteMondays: Mailbox/Whereabouts
Ohhh...I very much want to read "The Bucolic Plague." I saw a review about it recently and it sounded FANTASTIC!
ReplyDeletewowie zowie - what a haul! I am anxious to read your upcoming reviews :)
ReplyDeleteLots of good stuff there, as usual! The Outside Boy was one of the books in the Book Blogger Con swag bag that I'm really looking forward to reading. My mom and I both read All We Ever Wanted Was Everything. I was just lukewarm on it, but she actually liked it quite a lot. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it!
ReplyDeleteWould like to see what you think of The Reliable Wife. I couldnt get to grips with that one. There are some very interesting books you've got there.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading.
What a fantastic deal you got. I loved the Forsythe Saga. Hope you enjoy all your new books. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed Scent of the Missing -- hope you do too!
ReplyDeleteI like the looks of Broke USA also -- will have to check it out.
As always happy reading!
Oooh -- you have a great list! I just finished Bucolic Plague and LOVED it.
ReplyDeleteWas that booksale in Roxbury, CT? I live in CT, and drove through there and noticed a sign.
(I'm also from 5minutesforbooks.com)
I just finished Based Upon Availability and thought that it was stunning. Very sad, but also very good. The others you got look very interesting as well. I do have a copy of The Forsythe Trilogy and A Reliable Wife, but have not read them yet. I hope you enjoy all your new arrivals!!
ReplyDeleteWe read A Reliable Wife for the Manic Mommies Book CLub in 2009, there is an author Q&A and our discussion online for you to read when you are done with this book - I wonder if you will like it (know there are some disturbing/grahic pages in this book, this is the critism I heard when we read it).
ReplyDeleteI loved My Name is Mary Sutter - the second half of the book moves at a quick pace (compared to the first half).
Have a great week!
I see several there I would love to read. Downhill Chance has been on my TBR list forever it seems. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteYou're books look awesome! I see three there that are new to me that are pretty tempting.
ReplyDeleteWhoo-hoo, yay for book sales! Enjoy all your books!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have your reading cut out for you for awhile. Congrats on nabbing Downhill Chance, I've been meaning to read that one too!
ReplyDeleteI have Blind Side of the Heart on my shelf. Bought it a few years ago, put it on the shelf and then forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder :)
ReplyDeleteSo many books! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great set of books. I'm not getting enough books from PaperBackSwap, I see, I haven't gotten one in a month. I'd really like to know what SCENT OF THE MISSING is about.
