Looks like a good haul this week (as usual). I've got a copy of Ape House from BEA, and I'm really looking forward to reading it!
ReplyDeleteOoooh, you got 29 AND Ape House!!! Can't wait to hear what you think about them. Have a good week, Diane.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books. Just one for me this week. Pussreboots.
ReplyDeleteThey all look good - can I say I'm just a little bit jealous of Ape House?
ReplyDeleteThe Kitchen House looks good. I'm wondering if Sea Escape, by Lynne Griffin is the same author who wrote Life Without Summer?
ReplyDeleteI guess I'll have to check that out!
Kathy,
ReplyDeleteI am surprised you did not get Ape House at BEA like some other bloggers?
Laurel,
yes Sea Escape is by the Life Without Summer author (I LOVED that book)!!!!
I have heard good things about The Kitchen House
ReplyDeleteYou have a nice mix there. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteI am seriously coveting Ape House!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy all of your great looking books!
Love the new layout/design. And, I'm sooooo jealous that you have APE HOUSE and SEA ESCAPE!!
ReplyDeleteAdam and Eve sounds interesting. Enjoy your new books!
ReplyDeleteI'm especially curious about Ape House and Adam & Eve. I didn't love the story of Water of Elephants, but I liked Gruen's writing and thought she captured the atmosphere nicely. And I only ever hear Sena Jeter Naslund's name in connection with Ahab's Wife, so seeing a different title caught my eye.
ReplyDeleteThis is quite a stack of books!
ReplyDeleteHave you read The Forgotten Garden? It's not keeping my interest and I'm wondering if it gets better - it's probably just the week I'm having and I might put it down and start again next week.
I so want to read Ape House by Sara Gruen. All your titles look interesting.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh....I am so jealous..I really want to read Ape House. I'm waiting for it with fingers crossed. :)
ReplyDeleteI purchased 29 as my first ebook from the iBookstore for my iPad. I loved the author's first book and am looking forward to reading this one as well. Sea Escape looks good - it's on my wish list. Again, I loved the author's debut novel, Life Without Summer, and this one looks just as good. Enjoy your books!
ReplyDeleteI notice the S& S books. I received a package from them too on Sat. that I haven't opened yet. I suspect I have the same.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
I loved Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen, so I can't wait to read Ape House.
ReplyDeleteYou are going to love The Kitchen House! I read it about 2 months ago and was just blown away. I also think a lot of your other books look great too! Enjoy them!!
ReplyDeleteThe Kitchen House caught my eye a while back- glad you got a copy and I hope you enjoy it along with all your other books. Have a wonderful week and happy reading.
ReplyDelete"Ape House" looks great- enjoy them all!!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great stack! There are few things better than getting books in the mail!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty those books all look sitting together like that! And what a great selection! I would be in heaven! Ape House, All the Queen's Players (big lover of historical fiction that I am) and The Kitchen House are all calling out to me!
