  4. They all look good - can I say I'm just a little bit jealous of Ape House?

  5. The Kitchen House looks good. I'm wondering if Sea Escape, by Lynne Griffin is the same author who wrote Life Without Summer?

I guess I'll have to check that out!

  12. I'm especially curious about Ape House and Adam & Eve. I didn't love the story of Water of Elephants, but I liked Gruen's writing and thought she captured the atmosphere nicely. And I only ever hear Sena Jeter Naslund's name in connection with Ahab's Wife, so seeing a different title caught my eye.

  13. This is quite a stack of books!

Have you read The Forgotten Garden? It's not keeping my interest and I'm wondering if it gets better - it's probably just the week I'm having and I might put it down and start again next week.

  16. I purchased 29 as my first ebook from the iBookstore for my iPad. I loved the author's first book and am looking forward to reading this one as well. Sea Escape looks good - it's on my wish list. Again, I loved the author's debut novel, Life Without Summer, and this one looks just as good. Enjoy your books!
