Mailbox Monday - January 2, 2012

Mailbox Monday is a gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week and explore great book blogs. January's host is Alyce@ At Home with Books.

Last week I was feeling too lazy to join in, so these are my new books for (2) weeks - no books were received as holiday gifts, but I did receive some Amazon Gift cards.

Any new books for you?

  2. Ha, since starting to read this week's MM posts I've added the first three on your list to my TBR list - looks like there will be lots of reviews in the near future. Have a great week, Diane!

  5. Me before You looks interesting, I will wait to read your review though since it's 480 pages. This length is either fantastic or about 100 pages too long... (hopefully you understand this comment).

    Have a wonderful week!

  12. I didn't get any book gifts either, but I think most of my relatives don't want to risk buying something I've already read (either that or they figure I have enough books - as if that could happen). ;)

I got the Jojo Moyes book too and I'm hoping it's good. I've read two of her books and loved one while the other one was just okay.

  13. I have Home Front from Vine also. This will be my first Kristin Hannah book but it sounded interesting so I thought I'd give it a try. And I'm trying to request mostly audio for a while until I at catch up (well, try to anyway) with my print backlog.

I received the Walter Mosley book, too. It'll be my first time reading one of his books.

    Happy Reading!

  19. I see Kristin Hannah show up on so many blogs, but I've yet to try anything by her. I really need to fix that!

  20. Kristin Hannah has a new one out? MUST check it out! I received All I Did Was Shoot My Man as well - I'm loving the Leonid McGill thrillers, so I know this one will be great!

  28. I'm almost finished with Me Before You, and I am quite moved by the novel. JoJo Moyes did an exceptional job of making us care, as well as think, about her characters and their situations.
