  6. Hi Diane,

I have to admit to never having read 'Brideshead Revisited', or watched the television adaptation, which was so hugely popular.

Both of your other books are new to me also, but both sound like intense reads, which will touch on many of the human emotions, both good and bad.

Three books which would definitely make me very happy, if they landed in my mailbox, so I hope that you enjoy them all.

  9. No review books in my mailbox last week but I did pick up a few kindle deals. I remember when Brideshead Revisited was on PBS but I must have been busy with college or babies at the time and didn't watch. I think Jeremy Irons was in it? I'll bet the book is good!

  12. The Adiga book looks interesting. I was a bit disappointed with Brideshead, but probably because it's not quite like the tv series (the old one from the 1980s or so). I liked that series so much that it bothered me that the book wasn't the same.

    Happy reading!

I also have Lat Man in Tower, and got it because Swapna loved it so much. It seems like it's going to be a great read, if I can just make some time for it!
