Tuesday Teasers

"She thinks, too, that she probably really does need the seasons, their lessons of birth and rebirth, the rich variety they offer, even when the offering is a freezing day full of howling winds and driving snow. (p 131 Home Safe: A Novel; Elizabeth Berg)

I'm more than 1/2 way through; it's good, but I'm feeling a little bored :(

  1. Hopefully the book will pick up for you soon, Diane. I haven't read anything by Elizabeth Berg, but I've heard she is good.

  2. Beautiful quote. I'll have to look into this one.

  3. Yours isn't the first comment I've heard on being bored with the book. That's too bad because I've really always enjoyed Berg's writing. I'll probably read this one but not just yet.

  4. Too bad you're feeling a bit bored by it! I've read Berg in the past and enjoyed her, although I do find her a bit bland.
