  3. Some great books, I think! I also got a (digital) copy of Dirt. Have you read the other books by Vann? I loved them and I'm really looking forward to this.

    1. Judith, I have read Vann's debut novel and liked it a lot, even though it was a really dark story. Looking forward to this one as well.

    A great eclectic mix of books this week, I wouldn't know where to start first.

    Three of your selection have made it to my reading list, although a couple of them wouldn't really interest me, I don't think .... 'Three weeks in December', (although I do think that the cover is stunning) and 'A Wedding In Haiti'

    I shall keep a look out for your thoughts about those two, who knows, I may be tempted ...

  24. Nice bunch of books. I didn't see the new Anne Tyler book in Vine, it must have gone on the first round. That's going on my to read list. I have Year of the Gadfly too and Three Weeks in December which I want to get to soon.
