I love the Brown Bear book!
ReplyDeleteNice collection!
ReplyDeleteI bet you're having a lot of fun reading those kids' books!
ReplyDeleteEric Carle was always a favorite of mine when I was little.
ReplyDeleteMondaynlooks pretty darn cool!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter absolutely loved The Giving Tree. Those are great titles for the baby's library.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely bunch of books, thanks for these. Thanks so much for your visit. I am not an expert but I think that is a Japanese Maple and how I would love to have one of those in my own garden. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThese books are great, and will begin a great foundation for a child's library. So thrilled that there will be a little one to read for soon. I think you've made some excellent choices!
ReplyDeleteSuch fun... I loved reading Eric Carle to my kids!
ReplyDeleteNice win, Diane. I've also been collecting children's books :-)
ReplyDeleteI've gotten in the mode of always giving kids books when the opportunity arises, and I love Eric Caryle's books.
ReplyDeleteI'm so impressed with the books for kids these days--while I love the classics, it's fun to see what's new out there.
Hi Diane,
ReplyDeleteI haven't come across Linda Castillo before, but this series looks great and I have added all four books to my list. Although it looks as though they work well as stand alone stories, because they deal with the Amish perception of crime and crime solving, I want to start the series when Kate is first made Chief of Police. Great win !!
I also am not averse to glancing at the childrens books from time to time, although all my nieces and nephews are to grown up to appreciate them now. The eldest niece has been married for almost a year now and is showing signs of becoming 'broody', so who knows ... there may be the opportunity to start buying all over again, in the not too distant future.
Yvonne
Very nice!
ReplyDeleteOne of the best things about a new baby in the family is buying books for their library - you have a great start.
ReplyDeleteNow THAT is a great collection of kid's books!!!
ReplyDeleteHow fun, choosing books for your grandbaby.
ReplyDeleteJust finished Gone Missing, hope you like it as much as I did.
ReplyDeleteGone Missing caught my eye awhile back. I look forward to hearing what you think.
