ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your thoughts on Marigold Hotel as well. I'd love to see the movie just for Dame Judi! I think you'll like Dilloway's book.

I've read only the Marigold book. Haven't written about it yet, but I did like it. And amazingly, so surprisingly, I didn't care for the movie other than the performances of Nighy and Dench. There was so much in the book, and the movie seemed lacking.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize Marigold Hotel was based on a book--looking forward to the movie, mainly because I'm a Judi Dench fan.
ReplyDeleteThe Care and Handling of Roses with Thorns is an intriguing title...assuming it's not a gardening book :)
The Marigold Hotel is one I want to read.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great week! I'm sometimes too lazy to do the meme, but then I just do a Reading Roundup on my blog, where I do exactly the same as normal, but I don't link up to Bookjourney (and don't use the button). I just can't miss out on writing about my reading. ;-)
Twelve Patients looks interesting.
