Saturday Snapshot
is hosted by Alyce of At Home With Books.
Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don't post random photos that you find online.
Shot through a window screen so quality isn't great.
These birds look like friends to me:)
What our (3) cats do when they get bored watching
the birds at the feeder outside these windows
Have a Great Weekend All!
Fab photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing Nature inside and outside :)
carol
Dizzy, you are welcome. Nature and cats make me so happy.
DeleteI love them both! Your cats look like they are pampered creatures!
ReplyDeleteYes, Kathy they have us wrapped around their paws:)
DeleteCats know how to be comfortable! And the birds know where to find food.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right about both! Our feeder gets emptied daily it seems. The wrens are especially greedy.
DeleteLove them both.
ReplyDeleteYes, the birds certainly looks like friends. And the cats certainly looks comfy. Lovely.
I think your bird photo is great. They look like they're playing peek-a-boo. Your cats always make me chuckle and smile. Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteAre they wild birds? In your garden? That's wonderful - much more colourful than starlings and sparrows we get. My Snapshots are here http://chriscross-thebooktrunk.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/parisian-pictures-take-two.html
ReplyDeleteThat's still a pretty cool shot, even if it's through a screen! Haha, those cats. They all look so . . . comfy.
ReplyDeleteLovely birds. The yellows against the green are startling! I feel like a lazy cat in the hot weather today.
ReplyDeleteI like the hazy shot through the screen....it has an ethereal feel to it.
ReplyDeleteAnd the cats...lol! They always find the coziest spots, don't they?
Here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
Lovely photos and I love your brown and blue afghan!
ReplyDeleteOur cats love to watch the birds too. That's a great shot of the goldfinches out the window too. Here's Mine
ReplyDeleteshot through a screen? That photo looks awfully good to me! Gorgeous birds!
ReplyDeleteLove how all 3 of your kitties lounge together. They look like they have the purrfect spot!
Have a great rest of your weekend!
The little goldfinches are so pretty and such brilliant colors.
ReplyDeleteYour kitties have a rough life! lol
My cat gets so excited about birds I am not so sure I would be able to have a feeder. And, yes, once her excitement dies down a bit she takes a quality nap.
ReplyDeleteWhat terrific pictures. The birds are so vibrant, even through a screen!
ReplyDeleteAnd the lazy cats -- I just love it. Makes me want to get back in bed on this Saturday afternoon.
I LOVE these photos! I am jealous you can see birds like that outside and your cats are cracking me up!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures Diane. I always say it is a dog's life but the cats look like they have a pretty good life. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's a great photo, especially through a screen! Our dog keeps many birds from getting close to our house. Your kitties are so cute! We've joked about getting a third cat, but two is really our limit until we live somewhere where we can have outdoor cats.
ReplyDeleteYour cat couch is the best! Both photos are wonderful. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe birds wouldn't be safe with those cats on the outside.
ReplyDeleteI love the colour of the birds! A lovely shot. Thanks for sharing. Here's mine: http://zaraalexis.wordpress.com/2012/07/07/saturday-snapshot-07-07-2012/
ReplyDeleteThose adorable birds do look like friends! And I love that your cata are all asleep on the couch but each in their own space in their own way! Their fur looks thick and beautiful, especially the black cat!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot through the window! They are beautiful, the colour! What kind of birds are they? You see, from my neck of the woods, we're very limited as to the varieties of birds.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I had a napping cat for my photos today too. Bird-watching is just so exhausting, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteHow bright yellow those birds are! It's a good shot despite the screen.
ReplyDeleteGreat bird photo. We don't have those bright finches in our area. Lots of robins and sparrows though. Even an neighborhood squirrel. I need to keep my camera closer.
ReplyDeleteTerrific pics and I love seeing your cats!
ReplyDeleteThe first shot may be through the window, but it still turned out great. And I love the cats just lazing around.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Snapshot.
These are both terrific photos! The birds are such a vibrant color and the cats are just adorable. They look very happy! :)
ReplyDeleteMy Saturday Snapshot
Bird watching is exhausting! LOL.
ReplyDeleteOh, those poor kitties - what a lot of work they've put in making sure those birds don't cause any trouble.
ReplyDeleteLOVE it! Those cats are living my dream....Napping! What a fun photo!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos...I especially love the upholstery. That shade of blue is one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteOh yes and the birds and cats are cute too!
Those birds are such a cheery colour! It must be wonderful to see them at your feeder. Great picture, thanks for sharing it. i love the cat pic too.
ReplyDeleteLove the yellow bird photo, their colors are just so brilliant! And the kitties are wonderful, of course
ReplyDeleteThe picture of the cats just cracks me up! They look so content and relaxed.
ReplyDeleteI am a sucker for animal shots and I absolutely love to take photos of birds!! They do look like friends!
