Mailbox Monday is hosted by Mrs. Q: Book Addict during the month of July. I was too lazy to participate last week, so this week's books represent (2) weeks worth.
I've been expanding my collection of Europa Editions and recently purchased most of these at bargain prices. All are in new condition, and were purchased from 3rd party sellers on Amazon.
- Old Filth; Jane Gardam
- The Man in the Wooden Hat; Jane Gardam
- Broken Colors; Michele Zacheim
- Fresh Fields; Peter Kocan
- The Proof of the Honey; Salwa Al Neimi
- The Homecoming Party; Carmine Abate
- For Grace Received; Valeria Parrella
- You Deserve Nothing; Alexander Maksik
(this group courtesy of publishers)
- Imperfect Bliss; Susan Fales Hill (Simon and Schuster)
- Some Kind of Peace; Grebe and Traff (Free Press)
- Between You and Me; McLaughlin and Kraus (Simon and Schuster audio)
- The Forgetting Tree; Tatjana Soli (St. Martin's Press)
All your books are new to me! Will await your reviews.

ReplyDeleteGoodness, such a magical Monday!
ReplyDeleteLovely looking books! Between You and Me looks very tempting...enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog.
I love how you're expanding your collection of Europa editions! If I had one, I'd send it your way, but I gave away as a prize the only one I owned (that Italian novel we read last winter...the name? Hmmmm, but I did love it!)
ReplyDeleteOh my, you have been getting some great things in that mailbox this week! I am really happy that you are expanding your collection of Europas. Great mailbox! I hope that you enjoy them all!
ReplyDeleteA nice mix of reads, enjoy!

Oohh, love all the Europa Editions!! You Deserve Nothing was a stunning multi-narrator audio production.
ReplyDeleteThe Europa Books look great! I have read wonderful things about Old Filth and The Man in the Wooden Hat.
ReplyDeleteI also received Some Kind of Peace. I love the cover of The Forgetting Tree.
Enjoy all your new books, Diane!
These are all new to me. I usually know of a few of your books but not this week! The Europa Editions always sound so enticing.
ReplyDeleteI am in awe of your Europas!
ReplyDeleteDiane, I don't think you're "too lazy"; it's a lot of work to round up all your new books and provide a photo and links to them. Anyway, you have some great picks here. I'll be reading The Forgetting Tree also.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great summer of reading! (I guess I'm really out of the loop as I don't know what Europa editions are.) Okay...I'm sorry, but my eyes were drawn to Miss Honey's backside. Does anyone really have a flawless rear like that? ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful selection. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteSo many good books! And it sounds like you got some real bargains! Enjoy your goodies and happy 4th! :)
ReplyDeleteI really should look at the Europa catalog. I picked up a Europa at ALA. Every Man for Himself by Beryl Bainbridge (about the Titanic). I've also got A Novel Bookstore by Laurence Cosse. Need to read them!
ReplyDeleteYou have so many good ones here, I'm not sure where I would begin!
