Books the Cats Dragged In this Week






What a difference a week makes.
Last Saturday was I was miserable: cold, fever, headache etc. Today I am almost good as new, but that is only because I passed it on to my husband. So now I get to wait on him LOL. I did not leave the house until Thurday, so I did get some reading done, including an audio book.

BOOKS the CAT DRAGGED IN (or what I told my husband) --The picture isn't great but I did buy (3) heavily discounted hardcovers this week that were on my list:

Has anyone read any of these? I know I've read some positive reviews on Last Night in Montreal.

    Glad you're feeling better, and I hope your husband is soon on the mend.

    Nice week in books! I loved LAST NIGHT IN MONTREAL ... reviewed it just yesterday. I don't think you'll find it easy to put down once you start it!

    I really wish I could teach my cat to drag books home for me too.LOL. I haven't heard of any of these- they do look good.

    I'm so glad to see I'm not the only one with a "cat that buys books"! And all that against our will, of course...

    I haven't read any of these, but I've read "Best intentions" by Emily Listfield and loved it. "Waiting to surface" is on my TBR list, too, I think; is it the one that's mainly inspired by her own husband's disparition?

    I love Emily Listfield and have been wanting to read Waiting To Surface. It is loosely based on her own life and the disappearance of her husband. I anxiously await to see your thoughts on it!
