  3. I haven't read any of these either, but I have a couple on my TBR list. Shutter Island as a matter of fact has been on my list for a couple of years!

    Happy reading!

  4. Oh, I know what you mean! I have (still) such a huge TBR stack(s) that I shouldn't either, but a book I requested came in, too.

In fact, I still haven't started my library books, so I'm not going again until I finish them!

I haven't read any of the books you picked, but I think I'd delve into the Clint Eastwood story!

  6. You got some good loot! I'm anxious to see what you think of Shutter Island because I really enjoyed Mystic River. I've heard good things about This is Where I Leave You.

  7. You've reminded me that I need to dig out my copy of Shutter Island so I can read it before the movie comes out.

  8. Shutter Island was very suspenseful. Can't wait to see the movie, same with Lovely Bones.
    Have a Merry Christmas!

  9. I am very curious about what you think about A Children's Book, I've heard mixed reviews about it but have always wanted to read it! I think I may have to start "reading" audio books, that way I can knit AND read! :0) Great loot, Diane!
